This makes three shootings already this week. This one critically injuring another man. 29-year-old Justin Williams is in serious, but stable condition after taking multiple gunshots to his back. Just before midnight on Tuesday, Williams was shot outside his West Wayne Street home. As he was exiting his car, someone came up behind him and fired six shots, three of them hitting him.

The Lima Police Department is looking for answers to a shooting that occurred Sunday evening. Around 6:30 Sunday, Deandre Hines was shot while inside a vehicle around the intersection of Orena Avenue and E. Eureka Street. A person or persons shot multiple times into the car. Hines was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital where he is in serious condition. Detectives are following up with leads, but ask anyone with information on the shooting to call LPD at 419-221-5285.
