“Hearing loss, if left untreated, can get worse. People’s ability to understand speech can decline over time. If you get amplification early on in the process, that decline is slowed down,” said Alexis Nadler, Doctor of Audiology.

Nadler advises anyone experiencing ringing or buzzing in their ears to schedule a diagnostic hearing test at a private audiologist office or hospital.
