Hundreds of people gathered at Faurot Park Saturday afternoon to help raise awareness about Down Syndrome.
The Buddy Walk kicked off with a walk around the park.
Learning and understanding the differences in people is how inclusion is achieved and the "Buddy Walk" is just one way to help educate and celebrate those with down syndrome. This Saturday, the Down Syndrome Association of Western Ohio invites everyone to Faurot Park for a day full of fun to get to know one another. There will be a walk, games, and raffles. Organizers say the "Buddy Walk" has made a difference.
