The Kibby Street offices will be observing holiday hours of operation. They will be closed from Monday, December 26th through Monday, December 2nd. The outpouring of volunteers for a southside spruce up took organizers by surprise. The newly formed South Lima Community Development Corporation can't say thank you enough to of those who came out to their kick-off event on September 10th.
Fred Steiner talked about his presentation called “4 Guys Walk into a Bluffton Bank and the Rest is Bluffton Oral History”. It was August 14th, 1933, the day that John Dillinger and his gang were in Bluffton. Steiner says there is one firsthand account of the incident that was written, and dozens of oral history accounts passed down the generations that are not quite accurate.
