Bystanders pulled the woman from the car, and she was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other car was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Several power poles were hit causing down power lines. At one point, a map of an AEP grid showed more than 2,000 customers without power in that area. 

The Allen County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the victim in a Lima shooting over the weekend. About 10:15 Saturday night, Tracey Smith was found in the 1500 block of Edgewood Drive with a gunshot to his leg. He was transported to St. Rita's and the injury is considered non-life threatening. The sheriff's office was called out for a felonious assault complaint when they found Smith. The suspect fled after the shooting and has not been found. The case remains under investigation and the sheriff's office will release more details as it continues.
