A church with a long-standing presence in Lima introduced their new leader to the community today.

First Baptist Church held an installation service to welcome their new pastor, Rev. Andrew Shields. Shields comes to the church after spending the past 13 years at West Springfield Baptist Church in Pennsylvania. He says one thing about Lima that appealed to him was how much it felt like his own hometown, and he's looking forward to helping the church keep a positive presence in the community.
