Fort Wayne partnered with Lima to feed and give necessities to those in need.
There was a whole lot of giving going on in Downtown Lima Sunday afternoon. Fresh n’ Faded held their annual block party and joining them this year was Lima Senior and University of Findlay basketball star Khalil Luster, who gave away dozens of pairs of shoes to kids to go back to school in. Luster said with the help of his supporters, family, and Keith Jackson, this will be the first of many ways he is going to give back to his community.
While one Lima business isn't able to operate during the Stay at Home order, they still found a way to help out. On behalf of Fresh and Faded, Brooklyn and friends, they donated pizzas to those working the front lines at Lima Memorial Health System. Previously they donated pizzas to Mercy Health-St. Rita's. Fresh and Faded's owner said he saw it's hard for these people to get a break during this, let alone time to get food.
For the second year in a row Fresh and Faded are setting out to help local children get ready for school.
