Giving Tuesday is a movement the Tuesday after Thanksgiving where people in are encouraged to do good and donate to charities in their own area. The Salvation Army is one group that are reaping rewards in the campaign as they start to ramp up donation efforts ahead of the holiday season.

The West Central Association of Realtors held the event at Westgate Entertainment Center. Groups of four competed against each other in bowling, with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. All realtors were dressed in costumes, matching a theme of "at the movies". Members of the association stated that they wanted to help Habitat for Humanity in order to promote homeownership in the area.

Guiding Light Ministries assists women in crisis to provide a safe environment for them to learn how to be successful and take care of their families. The ministry was established in 2009 with their first house opening in 2013 and a second house in 2015. The program is still growing and has been successful in helping women on all levels of life.

The parking lot of Quick as a Wink Printing was packed with people to support Ashley Kohli. Kohli was diagnosed with glioblastoma of the brain, and the tumor has been quickly growing. Not only does she have the medical bills to deal with, but also is raising her younger sister and a child of her own.
