The Lima Police Department was engaged in a standoff earlier Sunday evening. The suspect was located at the Gatehouse Condominiums on the north end of the city. Lima Police were on the scene for a few hours and were assisted by the SWAT team.

Just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a call of shots fired. When they got to the complex, they found one person who had a head injury from a bullet. The victim was taken to Mercy Health with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies found a loaded handgun and three vehicles were also hit by gunshots. Detectives are looking for a black male, who is around 5’10” tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He was last seen running from the area on foot.
