LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Police Department was engaged in a standoff earlier Sunday evening.
Lima Police were on the scene for a few hours and were assisted by the SWAT team.
The suspect was located at the Gatehouse Condominiums on the north end of the city. Lima Police were on the scene for a few hours and were assisted by the SWAT team. Both Lima Police and SWAT were set up outside the suspect's location, announcing to the suspect that they were under arrest and ordering them to come outside. Flash bangs and shields were later used. The situation is still under investigation at this time, and we will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
