Continuing on with Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Crossroads Crisis Center brought some awareness to Mercy Health-St. Rita's. For the second year, Crossroads set up a booth at Mercy Health-St. Rita's for 'Wear Purple Day.' There, people could find various prayer cards, information for victims or people who may know victims, as well as the purple ribbons to make other people aware. One Crossroads board member said the booth makes people at the hospital aware that domestic violence is prevalent here and around the country. Some people even shared their stories at the booth.
