Construction on the new Allen County Government Center is progressing on schedule, with exterior and interior work nearing completion. County officials say the $17 million project is expected to open in mid-October and will eventually allow for redevelopment of the courthouse into a judicial center.

Allen County commissioners say they are optimistic about the year ahead, with several major construction and renovation projects scheduled to move forward in 2026.
