“Well, it's basically like a buddy's program where us eighth graders, we go down to the kindergarten room, and we sort of like make designs with the kids, and we like to spend time with them, so then they're just not stuck in class all day, so they can just have some fun,” said Matthew Askins, an eighth-grade student.
With schools closed around the holidays, the Lima Family YMCA is giving families a place for kids to learn, play, and stay active.
