The Honor Guard and Flag Corp. participated in three Memorial Day events today, and they are glad to see people come out to honor the service of the men and women who died in action and the veterans that served their country. Next Saturday, veterans organizations and the public will be gathering at 1 p.m. for the dedication of the Wapakoneta Gold Star Family Memorial Monument downtown to honor the families that sacrificed a loved one while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
