The Community Enrichment Dinner is set to continue that mission with this year's theme of "Love Heals All". Chairman Jerome O'Neal says each year they want to give people a topic they can really focus on and to walk out with a different perspective.
O'Neal spoke on the topic of diversity and inclusion in Lima. He says his goal was to gain rotary's support for initiatives that increase minority participation. O'Neal himself has been a part of several boards in the community. An initiative he helped with is the Chief William Davenport Scholarship that helps minorities enter the police force. Overall, he says learning about each other's differences will get us over the hurdle.

Potts Entrepreneur Center, Rhodes State College and more collaborated on a webinar to provide some information. It brought tools on how to apply for disaster relief and ways to help businesses stay afloat.
Learning what it takes to be your own boss was the topic Friday at a panel discussion for students in Lima Senior High School's career tech program. The panel included Lima businessmen Tom Tebben, John Heaphy, Jerome O'Neal, and Rob Nelson. All sharing with the students what it took for them to start and grow their own business.
