It has been improving relationships across Lima showcasing equity, diversity, and inclusion for more than a decade.
The Community Enrichment Dinner is set to continue that mission with this year's theme of "Love Heals All". Chairman Jerome O'Neal says each year they want to give people a topic they can really focus on and to walk out with a different perspective.
"Allowing the community to see African American community in a different light, in a different perspective. One where we are giving back," explained Jerome O'Neal, Community Enrichment Dinner chair. "One when we are proud. One is when we are showing how the tradition of the African American community can be inclusive and how we bring all people from all walks of life together. Then enrich the Lima community."
They will present awards spotlighting 7 individuals and their importance to the community. And the entertainment this year will be the "Commodores". The event is on September 21st and tickets are on sale now at 90 dollars, 100 dollars, and 110 dollars.
