Joint Township District Memorial Hospital’s ER and Urgent Care teams have been honored with the CARAT Platinum Award for outstanding patient care.

This learning opportunity is free and open to the public. Area professionals will be offering insight into wills, estate planning, financial planning, questions, 401k, how to handle bank fraud, is it too late to start? and how to start planning for the future.
This is the 2nd year for the event put on by Grand Lake Health System to help battle the health disparities that they are seeing in the area.
May 2, 2024, Press Release from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital: Joint Township District Memorial Hospital’s Nursing Scholarship Fund was established in 1990. This fund provides a $1,000 scholarship to qualified applicants pursuing their education in nursing. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior, current college student or adult returning to school pursuing a degree in nursing and live in Auglaize or Mercer counties.
Joint Township District Memorial Hospital officials announced it will implement visitation restrictions beginning December 31, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., in an effort to minimize the spread of respiratory infections to hospital patients, employees and the community. Due to the local presence of the seasonal flu virus, West Central Ohio hospitals have opted to implement precautionary measures in order for everyone’s protection.
New parents in St. Marys got some extra help thanks to a donation made Wednesday morning. Several Edward Jones financial advisers from the area came together to donate first born bags to parents at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. The bags were filled with wipes, diapers, and lotion, to name a few.
The hospital can be a scary and unfamiliar place for young children - and to help area kindergartners overcome some of those fears, the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital puts on a program every year, for the past 33 years.
It's called the Make Believe Hospital, where students get a look into some of the procedures that are done in the hospital - from surgery to x-rays - as well as first aid and healthy lifestyle tips.
