A 23-year-old Celina man died Wednesday after losing control of his motorcycle at the intersection of Kishler Street and Indiana Avenue in St. Marys. Parker Wiechart was transported to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The American Red Cross is encouraging residents to donate blood this summer as seasonal declines in donations create a greater need for lifesaving blood supplies.

This fund provides a $1,000 scholarship to qualified applicants pursuing their education in nursing. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior, current college student or adult returning to school pursuing a degree in nursing and live in Auglaize or Mercer counties.

The bags were filled with wipes, diapers, and lotion, to name a few.
