Country music fans at the Allen County Fair were ready to 'raise Kane' Saturday night. A sold out crowd packed the grandstand to hear country music's top young artist perform a growing list of hits. The Allen County Fair has been working on getting Kane for over a year. His fans were lined up hours before the gates even opened to get a great spot before the concert.
The ribbon has been cut to begin the 169th Allen County Fair. The Ohio State Alumni Band helped get the festivities started for what the fair general manager Bob Fricke said was going to be a fun-filled week. This year's concert featuring Kane Brown and Seaforth has less than 150 tickets available as of Friday afternoon. Outside of the classic draws like fair food and livestock competitions, other attractions Fricke expects to be a big attraction are the harness racing, demolition derby, the Fearless Flores Thrill Show, and many live music acts. The fair will run through Saturday, August 24th.

The Allen County Fairgrounds has found another up and coming act to join Kane Brown for this year's summer concert. The Australian country-pop band, "Seaforth" will officially be opening for the Kane Brown concert on August 17th. The band, which was selected by Kane Brown's production team, is well known for their songwriting skills and music, which has a touch of rock and roll, R&B, and various other genres.
Rumors have been floating around on social media about the headlining act for the Allen County Fair being sold out. Fair employees have indicated the Kane Brown concert is not in fact sold out yet, however tickets for VIP and the Party Pit are sold out. Since tickets went on sale on Tuesday, as of this morning, nearly 8,000 tickets have been sold.
One of the hottest new country music artists will be the headlining act at this year's Allen County Fair. It was announced Monday, Kane Brown will be the headliner at this year's fair on August 17. Fair general manager, Bob Fricke, said the fair board has worked 17 months to get Brown to Allen County and they are excited to finally announce it. Fricke said Brown sells out everywhere he goes, including every show on his first headlining tour.
