They will be joining their current garage area with the adjacent Central Street lot to add more space to park and work on vehicles and a bus wash. A new Lima loop will also begin next year when the downtown amphitheater opens for events so that transport to and from the venue is easier and people don't have to walk.

The Allen County RTA will be offering free rides on all fixed routes on Tuesday, November 8th, as well as up-lift rides to voting locations. Those who are interested in up-lift rides will need to make a reservation by the end of the day on November 7th. Allen County RTA says that they wanted to do their part in ensuring that every resident's voice is heard in this upcoming election.
Starting Monday, March 8th, the Allen County Regional Transit Authority will be offering free rides for those with appointments to get the vaccine. Everyone will get a free round trip for each dose. All that is needed is to tell the bus driver you are going to an approved vaccination site, and there will be no charge. Those requiring Up-Lift or ADA services need to call the RTA office (419-222-2782) at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a pickup time.
