A Hancock County grand jury has charged a man who allegedly hit a bicyclist who later died from his injuries. 36-year-old Kory Conley was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault for the death of 55-year-old Kenneth Bender. According to the Findlay Police Department, on September 27, 2019, Bender was riding his bike along the curb, when he was struck from behind and dragged for a distance, the driver of the car drove off. Police later arrested Conley and charged him with drug possession. Bender died about a week later from his injuries. If convicted, Conley could face a maximum of 11 years in jail.

A Findlay man was flown to a Toledo hospital after he was struck from behind while riding his bicycle. The Findlay Police Department say that 55-year-old Kenneth Bender was riding north on Main Street around 8 o'clock Friday morning when 36-year-old Kory Conley drove up behind and hit him. Bender was dragged for a distance by Conley and hit a parked car.
