A group of young ladies from Leipsic High School are all looking to enter the medical field and got the chance to visit the Ohio State Mercy Health advanced anatomy lab. They were being instructed on the human body and got to study actual cadavers. They were attentive and grateful for the opportunity.
Every year, students in the Senior business class at Leipsic High School are assigned to create, and establish an entire business idea from start to finish. This year, the class formed Tye Dye Supply Co. and tie dyed dozens of t-shirts. The students say they learned a lot through the sometimes stressful process, but it will benefit them in business endeavors going forward.
Students got to show off their artistic skills today at the Putnam County Arts Festival at Leipsic High School.
There was a piece of art from every school district in the county, and from every grade. The main part of the art show highlighted pieces from students grades 9-12.
COLUMBUS—State Senator Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) yesterday presented four Senate resolutions to high school state champions from across the 1st Senate District. "I never cease to be amazed by the incredibly talented students that we have in northwest Ohio," said Senator McColley. "The fact that I had the opportunity to recognize not just one, but four state championships is a proud moment for me and our entire community."
