In an effort to help citizens protect their neighborhoods, one local organization hosting a Citizens Block Patrol orientation. Tuesday evening, around a dozen Lima residents attended the Lima-Allen County Neighborhoods in Partnership's Citizen Block Patrol orientation. Throughout the session, residents discussed things they would like to change, what they look forward to for the season and how to increase involvement in the group. Citizens who join the group have the opportunity to reduce crime, build community pride, and improve the quality of life in city neighborhoods.
