Lima Taxation Department is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm on the first floor of the city building at 50 town square. The deadline to file taxes has been pushed to Monday, April 18th due to the 15th being on the Good Friday Holiday. The important thing they stress is to make sure you file on time.

The City of Lima Taxation Supervisor Chris Fast explains, “You need to have your w-2’s and any other schedules plus Lima residents need to include the first page of their Federal 10-40 and that’s what we’re seeing right now. We’re getting tax returns in now, early which is nice, but we’re having to send quite a few of them back because they don’t have the 10-40 enclosed.”
