Students at Indian Lake Local Schools resumed classes this past Wednesday following the deadly tornado on March 14th. Indian Lake Local Schools were closed that Friday, Monday, and Tuesday after the EF-3 tornado ravaged the Lakeview and Russells Point communities with school officials transforming Indian Lake High School into a community shelter and a focal point for nearby residents to obtain recovery supplies. At a press conference this past Friday, Indian Lake Superintendent, Rob Underwood, shared updates with the media on how the reopening process is going.
