St. Marys Police Officers arrested 31-year-old Joseph DeMarco and charged him with two counts of felonious assault. He is in the Auglaize County Jail and the bond has been set at $100,000. Police officers were called to the parking lot behind 100 W. Spring Street just before 5:30 Saturday night for reports of a person struck by a vehicle. During the investigation, they determined that DeMarco was the driver and he intentionally hit the victim.
