Two local senior care officials, Samantha Kerner, director of sales at Springview Manor, and Jessica Trinko, executive director of Lima Convalescent Home, spoke to the group about how the landscape of senior health care has evolved over the years and what families should consider when making long-term care decisions.

Ohio has submitted a proposal to the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services that would require healthy adults between 19 and 55 years old, with no children or dependents, to have a job, be in school or participate in a job training program to qualify for Medicaid.
