NexGen Research is hosting a health fair and open house aimed at connecting underserved communities with clinical trial opportunities and healthcare resources. The “Discover the Future of Medicine” event will feature drive-through screenings, medical professionals and information about upcoming medical studies.

“Not everybody has access to get to providers, to get to resources. So this event really is in the heart of downtown Lima area, and is in walking distance of a lot of different neighborhoods and it all. It puts it all in one spot,” said Catherine Lusky, community health coordinator at Mercy Health–St. Rita’s.
