On Sunday afternoon the Delphos community came together at the Knights of Columbus Hall to recognize four new members to the Delphos St. John's Hall of Fame.

Dan Rupert was the first new inductee to be recognized. The 1961 graduate, who was recognized for his professional achievement, worked in the area schools for 43 years impacting so many children's lives.

Several years ago, former Delphos Mayor Mike Gallmeier had an idea - to lend a hand to those in the area that needed help with getting food on the table. With the late Rev. David Howell and Community Unity, Mike's Food On Us was born.

Since April, the City of Delphos has been putting in time, energy, and support for their former mayor, Mike Gallmeier, who was diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this year and had to step down in June.

Vancrest of Delphos has been helping out and raising money for a special cause.
