The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this celebration as more than 60 individuals will take the oath and swear in as U.S. citizens. Those swearing in each have their own stories as to how they came to the United States, with people coming from all over the globe. By the end of the event, one thing will be the same...they will all be citizens of the United States.

Dozens of Ohio residents pledged their allegiance to the United States at one of the largest naturalization ceremonies to take place at the University of Findlay to date. “It’s a massive step in their lives moving forward,” said U.S. District Court Judge Jeff Helmick, who presided over the ceremony. 

Congratulations to the twenty-one new citizens who get a shot at the American Dream. Lima Senior High School hosts a naturalization ceremony where family and friends gather to cheer on individuals who were sworn into citizenship.
