October 31, 2024, Press Release from St. Marks United Methodist Church: FINDLAY, OH — St. Marks United Methodist Church is pleased to announce that registration for Findlay’s Night to Shine 2025 has officially opened as of November 1st. This year’s event, held on February 7th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St. Marks Church in Findlay, promises to be a memorable evening celebrating individuals with special needs. Night to Shine is a global event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, offering an unforgettable prom night experience centered on God’s love. Honored Guests, Volunteers, and Buddies can now register through the newly launched website, designed to streamline the registration process and provide comprehensive event information.

It truly was a night to shine for over a hundred young adults in the area. The Lima First Church hosted its sixth annual Night to Shine prom to celebrate the special needs community. They were one of the first churches worldwide to partner with the Tebow Foundation to make the event possible. Hundreds of volunteers came out to put on the perfect night for party-goers. Coordinators of the event say this night unites and showcases people from different groups and areas.

Over a hundred folks with special needs got their night to shine and to bust a move. Lima First Church hosted the annual night to shine, an annual prom event for people with special needs. Sponsored by the Tim Tebow, over 160 people aged 14 and 30 were invited out for dinner, karaoke, and dancing.

A husband and wife team have spent years opening up new opportunities to people with disabilities. 

A Lima Church is once again taking part in a national event that brings awareness and fun to young adults with special needs.
