The Lima Rotary Club awarded 14 scholarships to nontraditional students pursuing higher education and career training in a variety of fields. The organization has now awarded more than 1,300 scholarships totaling more than $1,056,000 since 2001.

For the second time, Bowling Green State University has earned Collegiate Purple Star designation from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for its support of veteran and military-affiliated students.
