November 15, 2024, Press Release from Bowling Green State University: BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Further expanding its academic programs in health care fields, Bowling Green State University has launched Ohio's first and only hybrid, accelerated Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program, with applications now open for Fall 2025. Through the two-year program, students will take classes online and will travel to campus only twice per semester for comprehensive, hands-on clinical lab experience, making the program accessible to students nationwide.

Lima Memorial’s Exploring Program makes their final stop for this school year hoping to gain students an understanding of the different specialties of the medical field. Wednesday evening, the high school students in the program learned a little bit more about what it takes to work in the physical and occupational therapy fields. The students got the chance to see what the therapist do to get their patients rehabilitated, the dangers of a concussion, and the importance of posture and alignment.
