For those trying to escape the heat, a trip to the Wapakoneta WaterPark may be what you need. The Wapakoneta WaterPark has brought the ocean to the park this summer. From giant floatables to ocean-themed vinyl floors, the new additions at the park have gained a lot of attention from local residents of all ages.

Lima City Schools students are learning about the ocean this week from an expert in the field.  Doctor Tierney Thys is a marine biologist and National Geographic director of research at the Sea Studios Foundation.
