With the April 15 tax filing deadline less than a month away, the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Securities and Division of Financial Institutions are sharing helpful tips and critical reminders to help ensure a smooth process for Ohioans.
This includes an item of clothing priced at seventy-five dollars or less, an item of school supplies priced at twenty dollars or less, and an item of school instructional material priced at twenty dollars or less. Items that are used in a trade or business are not exempt under the sales tax holiday. Those who have questions regarding the sales tax holiday are encouraged to check the department's sales tax holiday articles available on their website.
