Teens in town for the annual Converge Conference are showing their love for the Lima community for the 7th year in a row by handing out as many 25 pound boxes of food as they can. “We have 60,000 pounds of food that we are giving away to the community,” said Teens for Christ volunteer Cindy Fledderjohnn.

55,000 pounds of food is getting ready to hit the streets of Lima to help people in need. This is the 7th year that the Converge Conference has handed out 25 pound boxes of food as part of their Operation Love Lima. The conference will take place the first weekend and April and volunteers are getting ready this week by packing up the boxes. Operation Love Lima is the students favorite part of the two-day conference because they can go out and touch a person's life that they have never met before.

The Converge Conference is in Lima, uniting teenagers from area churches with the common goal of spreading the word of God. 

There was no lack of energy or work effort tonight at the Brown Supply Company Warehouse, where Operation Love Lima was well underway.
