The Hardin County Sheriff's rough journey began when he was fourteen, when he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.  "It's been a progression of related diseases since then." said Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart. "Literally its just a waiting game right now."

Jeremy DeMoss passed away after a motorcycle incident in Van Wert County this past weekend. His organs will be donated to help others in need. DeMoss was the president of the Wetzel Motorcycle Club, and members of the club joined his family in lining up the hallways of St. Rita's in order to give him a proper sendoff.

The Organ Historical Society has found out that the church's organ dates back to 1930s to a shop in Milwaukee and might very well be the first organ ever made at the shop. Doctor Thomas Fielding, the director of music from Saint Augustine Cathedral, traveled to Lima to document the organ and also share the overall history with the church.

The pinwheels each have eight spokes and one stem to represent the eight organ donations that one person can make.
