A shoplifter at the Lima Mall sends police on a short chase before being caught. The male suspect ran from officers outside the mall and ran across Cable Road.

Police arrested a Lima man following a standoff on Thursday night. 32-year-old Jordan Jennings is being held in the Allen County Jail on charges of suspicion of strangulation and other outstanding warrants. Lima detectives say around 6 p.m. Thursday night, officers were called out to a home on Orena for a domestic violence incident. The victim says that Jennings assaulted her and was inside the home, refusing to come out.
