Students at Lima Central Catholic completed nearly 600 random acts of kindness in just two weeks as part of the “Doing A-OK Challenge.” The effort is now being passed on to Shawnee High School as organizers aim to expand the movement and reach one million acts of kindness.

He’s asking anyone who witnesses or performs an act of kindness to log it on the website and help grow the counter. His vision is to create a ripple effect that reminds people of the good happening all around them.
“Well, we started about six, seven years ago,” said Quincy Peoples, Director of Fresh-N-Faded Team Outreach Lima. “We teamed up with fresher faded, you know, we reach out to the community of Lima, and they make these events special for either the nursing homes or the community or for the kids. That’s why it’s called Team Outreach Lima.”
