September 30, 2024, Press Release from the Findlay Police Department: On 9-30-2024 at approximately 0105 hrs. officers were dispatched to Circle K (100 Crystal Ave.) for a report of a possible robbery that had taken place at another location. The victim claimed a male got into a vehicle he was in, pistol whipped him, and stole cash from him. The victim was driven from the scene of the robbery to the area of Circle K, where he called 911. The victim was injured as a result of the robbery and was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of a head wound and later released. Persons of interest were spoken to and a possible suspect was identified. This matter is currently under investigation.

July 11, 2024, Press Release from the United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Ohio: TOLEDO – A federal grand jury has returned a three-count indictment charging Damere Wilson, 20, of Toledo, Ohio, with robbery of mail, money, or other property of the United States, stealing mail collection box keys, and mail theft. The violations allegedly took place while a United States Postal Service letter carrier was on a delivery route. According to court documents, an individual approached the letter carrier on March 12, 2024, delivering mail at the Piccadilly Apartments in Oregon, Ohio. The letter carrier indicated a hard object was shoved into their back and the individual demanded the keys to the mailboxes.

ADA, OH (WLIO) - Ada police officers are looking for suspects who took prescription medication from the Rite Aid pharmacy Monday night. The department released this picture of one of the robbery suspects caught on surveillance video. Officers were called to Rite Aid just before 9 p.m. The suspects were described as three black males with black clothing and wearing COVID-style masks. They didn't show any weapons, and no one was reported injured. They did leave on foot with prescription medication. Officers believe they got into a car with a fourth individual and left the area.

According to the Lima Police Department, they responded to a report of a cyclist near Kibby Street and McPheron Avenue being robbed around 9:45 p.m. The victim, then, led police to a house near the intersection of South Pine Street and East Kibby Street where a suspect was found.
