Area business leaders hearing from one of their own. Representatives from Rudolph Foods gave a brief history and forecast for the international company. Rudolph is headquartered in Westminster with facilities all around the world. They have been able to adapt over the years to keep up with the changing demands of consumers.

A long time Allen County company is once again is making an investment in a multi-million dollar expansion.

Allen County Commissioners approved a 10 year, 60 percent property tax abatement as part of an enterprise zone agreement with Rudolph Foods in Westminster to build the project. The expansion is a 7-thousand square foot cooler addition that will allow the company to receive and handle raw materials more efficiently, which will increase production.  The expansion will create 25 new jobs. The expansion project is estimated to cost between 4 to 5-million dollars.
