Young men working to transition from being homeless have another hurdle ahead after a Saturday evening fire. According to Russ Thomas of Family Promise, there was a fire at a transitional home in Lima around 7 p.m. Saturday. One resident was home and Thomas said he suffered minor injuries to his hand while trying to get out.
As we all try and make it through this arctic snap, there are some in the Lima area that don't have what we see as a traditional home to stay warm in.
You will be seeing a new face at Family Promise of Lima-Allen County. The executive board has hired a new executive director.
