Jarett Catlin, 33, was killed in a crash that happened on Marsh Road, near US Route 224, around 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.   

One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after a driver failed to yield at a stop sign, causing a two-vehicle crash at U.S. 224 and Lincoln Highway in Van Wert County.

On September 12, 2025, at approximately 10:00 A.M., the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Van Wert Post troopers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 87 and the Van Wert-Paulding County Line Road (Township Road 12), in Paulding County.
