The organizers of the 4th of July Veterans Cruise-in presented a check to the Veterans Food Pantry of Northwest Ohio. The donation will provide much-needed food assistance to veterans, their spouses, and active-duty service personnel. The organizers were able to raise twelve hundred dollars through donations at the Veterans Cruise-in Car Show in Faurot Park as part of the Star Spangled Spectacular, and they are happy to help those who served.

A Fourth of July tradition will cruise back into Faurot Park on Thursday. Classic and cool car owners will return to the park on the fourth to celebrate our veterans. Cars will start lining up at St. Rita's around noon and then make their way to Faurot Park by 2 o'clock. The event is free for people to see and for car owners to participate in because the people behind the cruise in want to get as many people out to thank our veterans on Independence Day as they can.
