The Y2K Panthers will represent Lima at the AAU Junior Olympics in Iowa after qualifying through a series of successful track and field competitions. The team is seeking community donations through the Lima Community Foundation to help cover travel and competition expenses for the national meet.

Young basketball players from across Northwest Ohio competed in the Elks Hoop Shoot at Ohio State Lima, with winners advancing to the state competition in February.
