Participants in the City of Lima's Summer Parks Program visited Ohio State Lima for a day of educational and recreational activities. Children explored fossils and dinosaurs, played bingo and wiffle ball, and took part in other hands-on experiences during the field trip.
The City of Lima's Summer Parks Program has begun its eight-week season at Faurot and Robb parks, offering children ages 6 to 12 a summer filled with games, crafts, playground activities and field trips. Organizers say the first day brought excitement as returning participants and newcomers began building friendships and enjoying summer fun.
