COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the official football computer ratings on Tuesday. The weekly ratings report will be released each Tuesday for the remainer of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, October 26.

 

The top 12 in each region will qualify for the playoffs, with the top four seeds getting a first-round bye. The top 16 schools in each region are listed below.

 

The 72 largest schools are in Division I, while the remaining schools are divided equally in Divisions II through VII (approximately 106 schools in each division). Findlay, Lima Senior, Wapakoneta, Shawnee and Bath all held their positions in the rankings. In Region 20, Indian Lake and Versailles traded places, while in Region 22, undefeated Bluffton slipped one spot to fourth. Paulding made a major jump, climbing from 10th to fifth.

Coldwater dropped from the top of Region 24 down to third, with Anna sitting at 10th and Perry at 12th. Lima Central Catholic remained unbeaten at 6-0 and continues to lead Region 26, followed by Leipsic at second and North Baltimore moving up to third. The Blanchard Valley Conference is well represented, with Ridgemont hanging on to the final playoff position at 12th.

In Region 28, Marion Local holds firm at No. 1, with St. Henry right behind at No. 2. New entrants this week include Fort Recovery, 10th at 4-2, and Riverside, 12th at 3-3.
