The Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fatal fire north of Cairo. The fire happened Monday morning at 8309 Ottawa Road. They say that one male died in the fire, but they are not releasing the name or age of the victim, that information will have to come from the Allen County Coroner's Office.

Findlay troopers are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on I75 on Christmas Day. According to a media release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7 p.m. North of the Van Buren exit of I75. Troopers say the pedestrian was in the southbound lane when he was hit by a Michigan man driving a SUV. The man then was hit by two additional vehicles. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, their name has not been released yet because they need to notify next of kin. The southbound lanes were shut down for four hours while trooper investigated the crash.
At around 3 p.m. first responders were called out to the scene of a crash in the northbound lane of I-75 near exit 122. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, an SUV was traveling north when a truck changed lanes and ran into the SUV.
Around 4:30 p.m. Friday, a crash on North Cole Street required a woman and her 4-month-old to be transported to the hospital. According to police, the driver of the black car was heading north on Cole Street when they had to stop for another stopped vehicle in front of them. When the driver tried to go around, they made the turn too sharp and lost control. The grey vehicle with the woman, her fiancé, and child were heading southbound and clipped the black car. No word yet on the condition of the woman and her child.
