INDIAN LAKE, Ohio (WLIO) — Indian Lake continued its postseason run on Friday night, taking down Cincinnati Mariemont 31-14 to advance to the Division IV regional championship for the second straight season.
The Lakers struck early in the first quarter when Brady Golliday dropped a deep pass into the arms of Colin Bender for the opening touchdown and a 7-0 lead.
Later in the quarter, Noah Shirk powered his way through a pile at the goal line for another score, extending the advantage to 14-0.
In the second quarter, Golliday added to the momentum—this time with his legs—scrambling into the end zone to put Indian Lake firmly in control.
The Lakers closed out the night with a complete performance on both sides of the ball, securing their seventh straight win.
Indian Lake moves on to face North Union next week with a regional championship on the line.
