October 10, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources: COLUMBUS, Ohio — Annual Fall Color festivities will be offered by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) at the historic Hocking State Forest Cabin and at Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve the weekend of Oct. 26. Both events are family-friendly and offer a variety of autumn fun including beautiful fall colors. “Time spent in Ohio’s state forests and nature preserves at any time of the year is time well spent,” said ODNR Director Mary Mertz. “During the fall season, these unique locations bring exceptional experiences as the beauty of Ohio’s natural features shines through.”
