This years' Miss Rodeo USA was in downtown Wapakoneta today visiting area stores.
Kaelanne Quinonez earned the title at the Lazy E Arena during the 54th performance of the International Finals Rodeo.
She'll wear the crown for the remainder of the year until it's passed on to the next rodeo queen.
Now, the California born, and current Texas native is using her platform to travel to rodeos, schools, townhalls, and conferences across the United States and Canada to promote the sport of rodeo, agriculture, and western traditions to all ages.
"It's an honor to be crowned Miss Rodeo USA 2024. It's a fantastic opportunity for young girls and myself to be able to spread the word about the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA), but also Rodeo and the western way of life in general. The cowboy lifestyle is for anyone and everyone who wants to get involved with it," added Quinonez.
